COVID-19 Safety Precautions

Safety will continue to be our priority.  We are taking extra precautions to ensure your safety as well as ours and are implementing enhanced protocols following all guidelines set by the American Dental Association (ADA), the State Board, and the Center for Disease Control (CDC).   When you come to your next appointment at Summit Dental, you will notice many changes in place to keep you safe. Listed below are just a few of the changes we have put in place so that our office is a safe place to receive dental care.

  • We recently had our office treated with a fogging disinfection process that is effective against COVID-19.  A 90-day antimicrobial barrier was also applied to all high touch surfaces.

  • We will continue our stringent infection control, as usual,  as well as regular disinfection of common surfaces such as door handles, countertops at check-in/checkout areas, and bathrooms.

  • Each treatment room is equipped with an air purifier that removes 99.97% of microscopic particles in the air.

  • Every patient will have a temperature check and health questionnaire screening prior to their appointment.

  • Staff will be screened for symptoms and a temperature check before beginning work.

  • Social distancing will continue to limit contact with others while receiving treatment.  For your safety, we will ask you to call upon arrival and wait in your vehicle until your treatment room is ready.  This way you will be able to come into the office and straight into the treatment room.

  • We ask that companions stay in the vehicle unless absolutely necessary.  One companion will be allowed in the treatment room with you if necessary.

If you had an appointment that had to be postponed due to the Stay Home/Stay Safe order, we will be reaching out to you to reschedule.  You can also call our office or email us to reschedule.
We appreciate your loyalty to our practice and look forward to seeing you again!
